Do Abnormal Hormonal Levels Cause Pain In The Knees And Hips?
I am feeling very old. My knees hurt, hips are achy and I feel very tired after exercising. I feel very arthritic. I ve been off HRT for about a year since having a heart attack. Wondering if my lack of hormones is causing this. I had both my ovaries removed 3 months ago due to a large cyst.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
If you are on HRT then hormone changes could be the cause of your tiredness. It can also be due to stress, some functional elements could be playing the role, arthritic changes may not be due to hormone but it can be a different condition.
Hope I have answered your query.
