Everyone in my family has a thump-thump sound, but mine sounds, how do I explain it, more gulpy, or gushy. Is this normal? I am going to the doctor already but I wanted to hear what you guys thought.
not all hearts sound alike . the diseased hearts have characteristic sounds that differentiate between . also different sounds can be heard in a totally normal heart eg an s3 in a young child where same s3 is a marker of disease in an old heart .
