Do An O Negative Mother Need An Anti- D Injection?
IM 12 weeks pregnant, had a bleeding and went to my hospital where i had an ultrasound. They couldn't fine the heartbeat and the embryo was measured at CRL of 3.2mm. I lost the baby yesterday. My questions are how far was the pregnancy before it stop growing? 2) Im 0- negative, do i need Anti- D injections. 3) how soon can i conceive again
If your husband is having a Rh +ve blood group, then you maust take anti D as soon as possible.
The baby was about 6 weeks but it depends upon the machine configuration. They must have mentioned the gestation in weeks in the report.
It is better to wait for 3-6 months before trying to conceive again. Start folic acid tablets in the last 3 months before you start attempting again. Also get a indirect coombs test done before pregnancy to see if you are sensitized for anti D.
