Do Blurry And Tingling Eyes With Headache Suggest Side Effect Of Meloxicam?
I have been on meloxicam for 1 month until today. I have high blood pressure. However my blood pressure has been like 107/102 for the past couple days. Blurry eyes, a tingling pain about my right eye and the right bone on jaw near face. Bad headaches. Had a very jittering in my chest last night. Isn t this a sign I am allergic to Meloxicam.
Medications can be associated with allergic reactions or side effects.
Allergic reactions tend to present with symptoms such as rash, itching, swelling, gastrointestinal complaints (mostly with foods), post nasal drip, nasal symptoms.
In terms of side effects of meloxicam, it can be associated with headaches, dizziness, rare abnormal sensations and blurred vision (these in 2% of persons). This means it is possible it is causing your symptoms.'
You can try to discontinue it and see if the symptoms resolve, if they do not then it is not related and you may need to be assessed by your doctor.
I hope this helps
