Do Both Marijuana And Cigarette Cause Chest Pain And Headache?

Hi Doctor, im a G6PD patient and i smoke marijuana and Cigarettes but anytine i smoke marijuana i feel ok but cigarettes actually give me severe headaches and serious chest pains and i also get thid shortage of breathe and irregular heartbeats. Do you think i need to quit both of them?

Yes, both Marijuana and Cigarette can cause increase in heart rate. Cigarette and Marijuana smoke also decreases the oxygen level in blood by replacing it with Carbon Monoxide.
As you are a known case of G6PD deficiency you are at an even higher risk due to the ill effects of smoking, so I would recommend you quit both and live a healthy life.
