Do Genital Warts Change Shape And Size When The Skin Is Stretched?
Do genital warts stretch. More specifically will genital wart on the shaft of a penis go from approximately 2mm in size to 5-6mm in size when a penis goes from being soft to erect? A few years ago I noticed I had four pimple like lumps on the shaft of my penis. Without putting much thought into it i attempted to pop them. They were not capable of being popped. I made the mistake of trying to remove them by picking at them and when they healed they looked similar to that of a wart; they have not grown in size, they do not itch, and when I have applied vinegar they do not change color or burn. They do however change size and shape when my skin is stretched.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Please do not manipulate genital wart. If you manipulate the wart tends to occur again on newer sites by a phenomenon called Pseudo Koebner Phenomenon.
Please visit your Dermatologist and follow his advise.
