For a week or so now i ahve what seems like contstant gurgling(loud) noises coming from my lower stomach, also I have normal sized stool, but it seems flat on the sides more of a recktangle shape than roundish. I have no pain either. IBS? Or should I be concerned? If not what symptoms should concern me?

Do Gurgling Noises In The Stomach Indicate IBS?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. The abdominal sounds you hear are most likely related to the movement of food, liquids, digestive juices, and air through your intestines. When your intestines process food, your abdomen may grumble or growl. Hunger can also cause abdominal sounds. So I think it is as normal as it can be. Hope my answer was helpful. Kind regards!
