Do Hanging Flap Skin Heal On Its Own?

For the last two days I ve have what feels like a flap of skin hanging from inside my left cheek. It s very thick, not the kind that ll fall off. I looked in the mirror today with a flashlight and the flap and area around it are completely white, almost as if the skin is dead. I m currently outside of the USA (and will be for a while) and don t have access to any sort of dental hygienist. Is this something that will disappear/ heal on its own?

Hello,
Thanks for the query,
You might have developed achrocordons ( skin tags).
These need to be removed by radiofrequency ablation.
It is a small surgical procedure and takes just few minutes.
An antibiotic will be required to give cover for infections.
A photograph would have helped me in giving a closer diagnosis.
Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.
Let me know if you have any other doubt.
