Do High Levels Of THC In The Blood Cause A Pseudoseizure?
Hello. Back in June i had what doctors diagnosed as a Pseudoseizure. That day was an ordinary day. No stress related issues. Early that day I ate an edible, Half of an Rice crispy treat to be exact. Afterwards i felt fine. That was my second time trying one. However, later that night i began to feel funny. My body began to twitch uncontrollably. I mean all over. I tried to relax and sit still but that didn t work. It then moved to my face. It too began to twitch uncontrollably. I immediately rushed to the ER as nothing like this has ever happened to me before and it was frightening. By the time i arrived at the ER my face twitched consistently and every word i spoke was with a studder and an uncontrollable head jerk to the left. They did all kinds of test and everything came back normal. I did have a high level of THC in my blood work. I originally thought the edible was laced with something but other then THC nothing was detected. Could that have been the cause of my symptoms and my bodies reaction????
