Hello! I haven t had my period in a bit over two years now. It s been about four years since I started; and when I did have my period, it was very heavy and irregular. I still get cramps and become very moody during the time of the month in which I m supposed to have my period. I m concerned that I will be unable to have children when I grow older. Thanks for listening.

Do Missed Periods Indicate Infertility?
Hallow Dear, From your history, you seemed to have regular menses after your menarche. Now for last two years you seem to be in amenorrhoea. At this age, such a period without menses is likely to occur due to hormonal imbalance. Please get your blood examined for 1. Thyroid function test : T3, T4, TSH 2. FSH, LH, Oestrogen, Progesterone, Prolactin. Low Thyroid function is very common cause of menstrual irregularities in teenagers.
