Do Pain, Swelling And Discharge From The Eyes Due To Corneal Abrasion Need Immediate Medical Attention?
Thank you. I got something in my eye yesterday and I think I scratched the cornea. My eye is very swollen, red and tearing. I rinsed it out last night and several times today but have a little bit of discharge and sometimes pain and discomfort. Does that sound normal? Not sure if I should see a doctor tomorrow.

Do Pain, Swelling And Discharge From The Eyes Due To Corneal Abrasion Need Immediate Medical Attention?
Hi, You should see one. Mostly, they will patch your eye for 12 hours and it should get normal after that. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Harshita, Ophthalmologist
