Do Periods Stop After Finishing The Dosage Of Ibuprofen?

Hi, I have a question concerning the use of Ibuprofen to stop my menstrual cycle. I have read that in order to stop my period I would need to take the drug in high doeses (800g; 3 little red pills) 3 times a day...or every 8 hours. But my question is, does my period stop after I have finished taking my last dosage of pills or does it stop shortly after my first dosage and is consistent throughout until my 3rd and last dose?

Hello,

Ibuprofen does not delay period. Moreover, a high dose of ibuprofen can cause serious adverse effects. Also, you can consult a gynaecologist and take drugs like Primolut N to postpone or delay periods.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
