Do Persistent Tiredness And Laziness Require Medical Attention?
Hi. Recently I have not been feeling myself. I am so tired and so lazy. I used to wake up at 8am everyday to exercise and now I cannot get myself out of bed and sleep in until 9:30-10am and skip my workouts. I haven’t been exercising as much. I feel tired all day. I have been eating more. And just feel so lazy and un-motivated.
1.If the symptoms of feeling tired [fatigue] are there thus check with your PCP [primary care Physician] to examine and Investigate thoroughly to look for common causes like:
- Auscultate heart for valve lesions. - Hb% for anemia. - blood sugar - fasting & PP for diabetes. - X-ray chest for TB - H.I.V. test - for AIDS - Serum T3, T4, & TSH
2. Management will depend upon the cause of the symptoms, until then:
- regular exercise and walking in fresh air - Regularize working hours. - regularize sleep for 7-8 hours. . Injection Neurobion 2 cc IM [aletrnate days] X 5-10 injections. - Capsule B complex: 1 daily. - Syrup Ashonil [general tonic]: 2 tablespoons twice daily.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Munish Sood
