Do Radioactive Pills Affect Pregnant Women In Close Proximity?
Hi, my dad had a radioactive iod pill yesterday, he is coming to visit us in 4 days time and my wife is pregnant. Will there be a risk for my wife or the baby. How long he should be kept away from pregnant women / very young babies. Many thanks Sam

No its only when radioactive iod pill taken by the patient does it affect the pregnant lady...not affected if it has been taken by another person
