Do Steroids Cause Weight Gain?
I have taken some steroids in the past,ican only think of perhaps nasal spray and or skin cream and those only occasionally. Having gained 1and 1/2 inches, Iremarked to the nurse, how can one grow an in hand half at sixty years old. She said steroids. Does this make sense to anyone.

Dear yes steroid use for long term in the form of nasal spray or inhalation or oral or intravenous route may cause weight gain.
other possible side effects are Peptic ulcers,altered mood changes, osteoporosis, fluid retention, atherosclerosis,diabetes aggravated etc..
