Do Swollen Legs And Cold Hands Of Elderly People Indicate Congestive Heart Failure?
My brother, age 73 has cold hands and feet and swelling in his legs. He thinks he has a valve problem and has seen doctors with the VA with no answers. he asks me, his retired nurse sister for answers. Can you help?He is obese, which has happened over the past 10 years or so, since he stopped smoking. sounds like congestive heart failure??

This clinical situation manifests as water logging in body areas including all limbs and recognized as Cor Pulmonale a form of chronic congestive heart failure
