Doctors Advice HIDA Scan For My Baby But I Think She Is Too Small For This Test
my 7 months old baby have a liver problem and after tests doctors saying that she will not live long time and her Hemoglobin reduce day by day is this disease recoverable or not, doctors advice me HIDA scan but I think she is too small for this test, kindly advice me...........

Liver problems causing jaundice in this age group are biliary atresias & neonatal hepatitis.To differentiate which one HIDA scan is done. Based on this test ,treatment plan wil be decided.go ahead for test.
