Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. My Doc has been giving me Glutathione/ATP injections. My ATP levels have come up, but still fighting fatigue. She has put me on Adderall. Does Adderall affect the adrenal glands? I believe my adrenals are also not functioning well. Thanks
Adderall has no effects on the adrenals. Steroids are the oral medications that have an effect of the adrenals. What makes you think that you have a problem with your adrenals? I will suggest that you do lab test to tell whether there is any problem with your adrenals as I have not found any strong reasons to suggest so. A test would clarify all the doubts on this!
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thank you for using our services and feel free to ask for more information if need be. Dr. Ditah, MD.
