Does Amitriptyline Interact With Propranolol?

I am prescribed amitriptyline for nerve pain, I ve just taken one tablet 10 mg for pain I then looked on the box it says it s amolodipine but the sticker on the box says amitriptyline I am really worried as I ve already taken ,40 mg of proranodol for migraine prevention

Yes, it may interact with Propranolol.

If taken along with Propranolol, Amitryptyline may have additive effects in lowering your blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, or changes in pulse or heart rate.

These side effects are most likely to be seen at the beginning of treatment, following a dose increase, or when treatment is restarted after an interruption.

Avoid driving or operating hazardous machinery until you know how the medications affect you, and use caution when getting up from a sitting or lying position.
