I understand your concern.
Amlong A contains a combination of
Amlodipine (5mg) and
Atenolol (25mg).
Amlong 5 mg contains only Amlodepine (5mg).
These medications are commonly used to treat
high blood pressure.
All medications carry the risk of causing certain amount of side effects. Side effects commonly caused could be nausea,
dizziness, headache and stomach pain.
These medications is not known to have any effect on blood sugar level. To change the medications for controlling blood pressure, you need to consult Physician and then change accordingly to their advise. Even after the change, it needs to monitored periodically to check weather the blood pressure is under control.
If you take decisions on your own and change the medications, it may have ill effects like
rebound hypertension and may land you up in dangerous situations.
