Does Ampoxin 500 Cure Itching Sensation And Pain At The Site Of Injection?

hi, One month back i was suffering from fever then that time an paracetamol injection was given by a doctor at my back. From few days i am feeling some itching type of mild pain in the place where injection was given. I rushed to the doctor and he suggested Ampoxin 500 to take 3 times a day for 3 days. Please suggest as after 2 days i am still feeling this pain.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Pain can result from any injection but it should not last for this time period.

Ampoxin is an antibiotic and may not help with pain relief unless the pain is related to an infection.
If your doctor suspects that there may be an infection then this may be the reason this medication was given. You may want to discuss this with him.

In addition to the antibiotics, you may want to use pain killers eg ibuprofen, naproxen

I hope this helps
