Does Ativan Has Any Side Effect?

I just started to take Ativan .5 for 3 days. My son was waiting for some important mail and it finally came in and i brought it in the house and drew a complete blank. I don t know what I did with it. It like I never brought it in i just can t remember where I put it. Can that be a side effect?

Thank you for the query.
Your doctor has prescribed you ativan which contains Lorazepam i.e a benzodiazepine which is mainly used in treatment of anxiety disorders and some other.
This medicine may show some side effects like nausea, vomiting, constipation,
dizziness, tiredness,sleep problems,weakness of muscles, lack of balance,
forgetfulness, trouble concentrating etc.
But you need not conscious about side effects as each medicine may show some side effects which may be dose related or time being.Your duty is if you come across any side effect lets talk to your doctor so that he may think of better options.
