Does Benitec For High BP Causes Cough While Laughing?

Hi I have a lot of coughing when I laugh. I went to a doctor and while going through my records he saw that I have Benitec H 40 for Blood Pressure since the last 4 months. He remarked that this could also lead to cough. Does Benitec H 40 have this side effect? Also, what could be the reason for my coughing while laughing?

Thanks for your query.

Yes,Benitec H 40 has this side effect but if I were your treating doctor I would first rule out other causes of your cough and after have excluded everything else I would say that the cough may due to Benitec.

If your doctor has examined you(I mean physical examination) he probability has ruled out other causes and in this case you should not worry about this.

In my opinion your doctor should change the treatment for your high blood pressure so the cough will go away.
