Does Betnovate And Spectrum Help In Healing Vitiligo Skin Discolouration?

Hi I suffer fromVitilgo skin discoluration , I have been told by a dermatologist to apply Betnovate cream & cover with broad spectrumSPF 41 & sit in early morning & late afternoon sun for one hour to help the healing process , thanks Den. Female 21 years

hi. I have read your question and understand your concern.

vitiligo is an autoimmune disorder and so yes steroids like betnovate help in repigmenting the lesions.

sun light contains ultraviolet rays which stimulate our melanin producing cells to multiply and produce more melanin.

so to answer your question, yes both betnovate and spectrum are helpful.
