Does Bupropion Help Control Depression?

I have just been given bupropion hcl xl because I have been really tired. I m just wondering if this will help. Everything I read it is used as a anti deppressant. I m not one for taking pills and don t want to depend on it. Will this drug help with the triedness?

Bupropion is an antidepressant drug with serotonergic and dopaminergic action. The drug is commonly used as add on drug in depression treatment. In a lot of patients chronic fatigue, tiredness are common presenting symptoms of depression. Though I haven't seen you but tiredness could be occurring due to depression too and this is probable reason they have advised you to take Bupropion.

The drug is safe to use and free of serious side effects. The drug doesn't cause dependence so just remain worry free and take this drug as per your prescription.
