Hello,
What you mention most likely is an
allergy. Allergy is an exaggerated or excessive reaction of the body to some antigen. The medicine you mention can be considered an antigen, but not always, and this happens to all people. It is important to know among your background, if you have had any type of
allergic reaction before (medicines or food) if you suffer from
asthma, if you have allergic family members.
Since the reaction has occurred very shortly after the intake of the medication, the most advisable thing is to suspend it, and notify your doctor that you have made an allergic reaction after the ingestion of a
Cephalosporin. Most likely, you will be prescribed an antihistaminic and another antibiotic.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
