Does Cephalexin Cause Itching And Burning Sensation In The Toes?
My wife has been prescribed Cephalexin 500 MG for an infection after a redness on the skin appeared a week after surgery. After a day of taking the pills, she has complained about itchy hands & burning toes. Is it possible they are related? Is this a side effect?

The symptoms seem to be related to an allergic reaction.I suggest you to stop the medication.I also suggest to use antihistamines daily and Calamine lotion for local relief.You should consult your doctor about an alternative medication.
