I had Chiari malformation surgery in 2004. I noticed after the surgery that I started loosing my hair and figured it was because of the drugs they gave me so that my brain wouldn t swell. It is years later and I am still losing my hair. Can it still be from the operation?

Which drugs are you using?? usually analgesics, muscle relaxants are used for it. Please check for you in on medication or it may be due to major stress due to surgery lead to Telogen effluvium. Use zinc , selenium and biotin contain tablets. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
