Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
There is no type of imaging study at present which is considered DIAGNOSTIC of any form of dementia. Chronic microvascular ischemia is seen in people over the age of 45-50. The biggest risk factor for developing this radiographic finding is AGE. The rest of the scan is perfectly normal. And again, even the microvascular ischemia could be considered a "normal" finding for age.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
