Does Crocin And Levofloxacin Medicine Have Any Side Effects During Pregnancy?
HI Doctor Am not getting periods, 4 days is over now from the normal date and am sure that am pregnant, unfortunately last few weeks I have diarrhea and fever, So I taken Crocin & flagly &leofloxacin tablets Does these medicine have any side effects and do this effect the fetus ?
The safety of Flagyl (Metronidazole) has not been established during pregnancy hence it is usually not prescribed during pregnancy.
Levoflaxacin is found to be harmful to the growing fetus hence it is contraindicated during pregnancy.
In view of the delayed period, you are first advised to have a pregnancy test done on your urine sample to confirm the pregnancy. Then you need to consult an obstetrician for regular ante natal checkup including an early ultrasound to detect any malformation in the growing fetus.
Hope this answers your query.
