Does Cytotec Cause Congenital Anomalies In Unborn Child?
Hi Dr. I am 3 weeks pregnant. I took cytotec pills 1/4 tablet 3 times a day, but I only consume 2 tablets. Does it cause congenital anomalies in my unborn child if I continue this pregnancy?? I felt the cramps but there is no signs of bleeding. Please advice. Thanks

Understand your concern.
Yes there may be chance of congenital anomalies in child like skull deformity, heart defects. But it will occur in rare case. You should confirm it by doing pelvic sonography at early stage. If baby is fine and no deformity , you should continue the pregnancy. But proper follow up to fetal medicine specialist is required to know the progress of fetal growth.
