Does Depo Medrol Injection Interfere With Autoimmune Disorder?
A few years ago my pcp started giving me monthly depo medrol injections to relieve numbness and swelling in my hands and arms. I continued the shots for over a year. 10 yrs ago I tested high out of range for anti-nuclear antibodies. I might have an auto-immune disorder. Is it safe to take that many depo medrol injections?

Steroids are not contraindicated in autoimmune disorders. Infact steroids are used for the treatment for autoimmune diseses. You may need dose adjustments once your diagnosis is confirmed.Consult your treating physician regarding dose modifications.
