Does Diane 35 Affect Ovulation?

Hi Doctor! I was diagnosed with pco and was put on Diane 35 for 3 months. My cycles were irregular before the medication but after it has been regular with average of 34/35 days for about 6-7 months. Last 2 months I and my parter tried to conceive but did not, and now my doctor put me on duphastone 10mg (twice from the 14th day of my cycle), she said it was to reduce the length of my period and that it would support pregnancy if at all. I just wanted to know if the tablet has any effect on ovulation?? Since my cycle is long I probably would ovulate late (16-20th day), so will the tablet cause any effect on that? And also if I do not conceive I am supposed to do ovulation test on the 2nd day of period.

You can convince using Duphaston within 14 days of the cycle. You can wait for some time till it happens.
When a cycle is longer usually is the luteal phase that lasts longer and Duphaston can help when used from 14th day.
