Hello,

Doxycycline is not known to cause any menstrual irregularities, so I would suspect it is not responsible for your delayed period. There could be many causes of a delayed or missed period, including stress, but it usually isn't anything to worry about unless you miss your period for 3 months straight, in which case your doctor would want to do an evaluation to figure out the cause.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Aaron Branch, General & Family Physician
