Hi. My mum is 79 and today had her blood pressure taken which was 180 over 90. Her sodium is low and consequently her lisinopril has been stopped and replaced with 8mg of slow release doxazosin. Should they be doing more, and is doxazosin effective? She has to go back on Sept 17th for a check, and we re all very worried.Thank you!
