Does Doxycycline Hyclate Cause Redness And Burning Sensation On The Skin?

I am taking Doxycycline Hyclate 100 mgm bid for a persistent redness in one eye since about a month ago. I am on Eliquis for Hx of stroke. Somewhat simultaneously, I have had redness in my toes and a burning sensation. Last Sat. I wore some shoes that created huge blisters on the area beneath my toenails above the middle joint. These shoes have never caused a problem before and I think it s because my skin is so sensitive. Is this anything you have seen with Docycline?
