Does Estrace vaginal cream for vaginal atrophy and dryness after menopause cause cervicitis or bacterial infections? I have had it create a messy and annoying yellow discharge which I mistook for vaginal moisture which the cream is supposed to create, but then a few weeks later there was a terrible odor and my doctor has said under the microscope she seems to see an infection and cervicitis. I was treated with Flagyl and while i was, had stopped the Estrace; i got back on the Estrace and now the same symptoms have returned.
