Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
hey. I am on 1800 mg Epillizine, 40mg rittalin LA, and 200mg of lamictan daily. I have recently got off 200mg seroquel, and 150mg Welbutrum daily and went over to 80mg of Geodon at night instead. Ever since I have severe headache and nausea when going to bed and all of a sudden experience skin rash on my back. (I have never suffered from skin problems before) Also, I truly only wake up at 11am. Should I be worried?
Geodon (ziprasidone) causes headache, nausea and also it can increase the sleep. But presence of rash may indicate hypersensitivity to Geodon. As many side effects are related to Geodon, I would consider stopping the drug and starting other drug. As you have not mentioned why Wellbutrin and Seroquel was stopped, it's difficult to say whether you can back on these medications. You can discuss the above points with your caregiver. Hope this helps. Thanks.
