hi i am shruti from bangalore. i was having PCOD along with mild thyroid. earlier i was taking glycomet 500 sr once a day n thyronorm 50 mg 5 time a week. now since i want to conceive the doctor have increased my glycomet 500 sr to thrice a day.. with the same dose of thryonorm. do these glycomet have any side effects will it reduce my sugar level???
Hello, Main side effects of GLYCOMET are gastrointestinal in nature like nausea,bloating,excessive gas,diarrhea etc. It would not reduce your blood sugar levels,if you are eating normal,however if you start fasting and then eat glyciphage,then it may cause a temporary reduction of blood sugar levels.
