Does Gyno-Travogen Cause Excessive Vaginal Discharge And Burning Sensation In The Vagina?

Hi doctor, i have recurrent eposides of yeast infection and i went to the pharmacy and she gave me gyno-travogen. I have used it last night and when i woke up in the morning, i found alot of white discharge on my pantyliner. It could be due to the medication because it melts, but is it normal for that to happen? Also, i experience more itching and burning sensation when i peed. Are this some side effects of the medication?

Hi,

Of course it seems to be vaginal infection and fungus is likely, if this is not responding to oral antifungal so it can be managed with intravaginal suppository like Povidone, best way to find out the exact cause and proper medicine is to get done the swab culture sensitivity, age also plays the role if this is the pre-menopause or menopause so such symptom is likely.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
