Does HCQS Cause Aggravation Of Retinal Detachment In Eye?
Hello Doctor, My mother is suffering from Rheumatoid Arthritis for the past 20 Years and recently i.e 5 years back the doctor informed us that she has sjogren s syndrome. Our RA Specialist has suggested the following medication 1. Arava 20mg 2. HCQS 3. Folitrax 4. Folivite 5. Pilomax 6. Aceto 7. Defcort 1mg Recently she was operated for Retinal Detachment in her right eye and also suffering from dry eyes. The Opthalmologist has suggested to stop HCQS as she thinks that is responsible for the aggravating condition of the eyes. But my RA specialist thinks otherwise. Please help me with your valuable suggestions as i am pretty much confused as what to do. Thanks Naveen
