Does Hydroxyzine HCL Cause Runny Nose And Watery Eyes Along With Sneezing?
Hi! I was diagnosed with Shingles on my left shoulder going about half way to my waist on 8/10/18. Put me on Hydroxyzine hcl 25 mg tab for itching. And Valacyclovir hcl 1 gm tab. The itching is gone today, but I have symptoms of a cold now. Nose running all day. Watery eyes and sneezing. And I have no PAIN! Is this supposed to happen and will I have bad Pain coming. I have heard all kinds of rumors. Thank you!!!
Both herpes and running nose are different conditions. Herpes is due to a virus and allergic condition may be due to virus or allergen. Both of these may not need any specific drug but care need to be taken for herpes because it may cause the pain symptom and that may need narcoticanalgesic, (in severe condition).
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
