Does Ibuprofen Interfere With Prednisone And Levoquin?
I am currently taking Prednisone 20mg 1x daily and Levoquin for an upper respiratory infection with 1-2 degree fever and mild to moderate malaise. Would it be safe to take Ibuprofen-200mg every 4-6 hrs to reduce fever/malaise? Can Ibupr interact with either of the 2 drugs in a negative way?

Yes, it would be safe to add the ibuprofen to your current regimen.
It would be important to make sure to use it after ingestion of food or drink since both ibuprofen and other NSAIDs (eg naproxen, cataflam), can irritate the stomach and this is also a side effect of prednisone.
