Does Lasix Cause Frequent Urination?

I have blood pressure, the Doctor reduce the blood pressure using the tablet Lasix. Now the blood pressure is under control, but the doctor advise me to continue the Lasix tablet and frequently more urine is coming. Is this due to the effect of the tablet

current condition is only due to diuretic effect of the lasix tablet.

* You should discuss regarding the same and taper the dose of the
tablet as per the guidance of your physician.
