Does Levaquin Cause Swelling In The Feet?

I hope you have an answer for me. I saw my PC doc a couple months ago and my blood pressure was slightly elevated so he knows I want to avoid script meds and prescribed 25 mg tabs of chlorthalidone to take one every other day. About a month into to using I became very ill with bronchitis and wasn t taking them because I was so sick and unable to eat and became very weak because the Quick Care doc I saw had prescribed cefuroxime along with robitussin. turned out I was allergic to the antibiotic and it made me even sicker. I called my pc after taking 5 of them for 2 and 1/2 days and he prescribed Leviquin which was fine. also I asked for a steroid pikl oack because I thought it would help me to recover quicker so I could get back to work. I remember reading that it said ti take then with a lot of water. About a week later slowly getting my strength back and eating I noticed my ankles and feet swelling and they still are. I started taking the water pills again but the swelling is still ongoing, My question is what is causing this and could it be a side affect from the steroid pill pack? I m 69 years of age, probably 110 lbs or less now, 5 2 . Don t have a scale and when last weighed I was 113.
