Does Lisinopril Or Atorvastatin Contain Valsartan?

Hello Doc For the last three months , I have had increasing difficulty breathing. My wife has had the same problem . My medications are listinopril and Atorvastatin. My heart checkup was good and the lung doc says I have asthma. My wife was on valsartan , entresto and atorvastatin. They pulled her off these medications. All the symptoms with the valsartan I seem to have . Is valsartan in any of my medications ?? All the best Jan ( I am 78 years old. )

Hello,

No, these are all different medications. The problem with valsartan was not even to most batches of valsartan and certainly not going to be a problem with another drug.

One batch of valsartan was contaminated with bad chemicals that just can't be in other drugs. These other drugs are not related to valsartan problems.
