Does Lopressor Cause Anxiety And Insomnia?
My husband was prescribed lopressor (beta blocker) for his recent A-Fib. Shortly after taking it his anxiety goes through the roof. He s been having chronic insomnia for 3-4 months now and this doesn t seem to be helping him at all. Can he counteract the effects with xanax and how much if so?

In my opinion, it is necessary to rule out thyroid dysfunction and Lopressor drug can cause insomnia if given in the night.
It is necessary to change timings of Lopressor also it is very important to have sleep hygiene and also Xanax drug can counteract the Lopressor effects.
