Does Losartan Cause Excessive Mucus Output While Coughing?
I am on the medicin Losartan and for the last 6 months I have continued drainage of the sinus into my throat and this is making me cough about 20 times a day. I have contacted my regular doctor 3 months ago and he said it s alergies. My cough has gotten worse plus the drainage is worse causing the cough. I have NEVER had alergies. Could this med be causing this problem? I have been on this med for a long time.

There are no evidence-based studies that confirm that Losartan can cause cough.
So, it might be an allergy.
