I have just recently been diagnosed with Lyme disease. My foot skin is red and very sensitive to touch. It hurts badly to stand on it and my toes get very numb all the time. The pain feels like a burning sensation. I do not have diabetes nor do I have any drakes bones in the foot. Is this the cause of Lyme disease?
Lyme disease is an infectious disease caused by bacterial Borrelia Burgdorferi. The main and characteristic symptom is a skin rash (I believe that is similar with what you are experiencing. Please send a photo for confirmation).
Arthitis with joint pain are also signs of Lyme disease.
Please consult further with infectious disease specialist, and take the medications correctly as prescribed.
Wish fast recovery.
