Does Melatonin Cause Hip Pain And Hair Loss?

I ve been taking melatonin 10 mg for the last 4 months to help me sleep well after taking it my periods were off and I started spotting in between my periods and have extreme hip pain and hair loss. If I quit taking the melatonin will my cycle go back to normal?

Welcome to HCM: please note that melatonin is actually a natural product that she buddy produces. It is one of the safest medications we use for sleep deprivation and insomnia. I do not believe stopping this medication will change her symptoms. It is worth a try if you feel overly concerned, but I doubt it'll make a difference. Good luck
